My name is Manly Souza and welcome to my website.

The above picture has a funny backstory that I correlate with humans fundamentally being creatures of the paradigm, Monkey See Monkey Do. Ask me about it the next time we chat.

Anyway, my life is mostly based around the United States Armed Forces and the real estate market. I enlisted with the Military after high school as the planes crashing into the Twin Towers in New York City was fresh in my mind. In March of 2003, President George W. Bush said we're headed to the Middle East to fight terrorism, and I wanted to help.

I entered the real estate world when both the real estate market and my life crashed (divorce) in 2008.

While I was married, and renting, the landlord raised the rent multiple times. I felt as though the landlord had too much power and I felt helpless. 

During the divorce process, I moved out and spent the next couple of months sleeping in my car and staying with family and friends.

I promised myself to own my own place one day and to never pay rent again. I remember hating the feeling of paying rent every month, and vowed to never pay rent again. Mission accomplished! 

I found real estate investing to be rather easy during those times and ended up buying a property every year or so. 

As far as traveling goes, I have been all over the world. I have been to Japan three times, Korea three times, Iraq three times, Guam four times, and Qatar ten times. I have also been to England, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Thailand, Philippines, Germany, Peru, Australia, and Nepal. 

I have visited various states and call Hawaii my home for now. I own properties in Hawaii and on the Continental United States.
